Your music, held with care

1. Who we are

Teaserloop is offered by Blissed and Balanced LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (“we”, “us”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the Teaserloop app and its render server (the “Service”), how we use it, and your choices. Please also read the Teaserloop Terms of Use. For Teaserloop, this policy takes precedence over our general Privacy Policy.

2. Information we collect

• Anonymous app identifier: a random identifier created on your device by the app (through RevenueCat’s software, or by the app itself if purchases are unavailable). It is not your name, email or Apple ID, and we use it to keep your credit balance and free-clip count, verify purchases and prevent abuse.
• Device token: when the app first connects, our server issues a signed device token (containing a random device ID and your anonymous app identifier) and a signing key, which are stored in your device’s secure storage (iOS Keychain) and used to authenticate requests. Device tokens expire after 90 days and are renewed automatically.
• Uploaded files: the audio tracks and the cover images or videos you choose to use, including videos you film in the app (without their recorded sound; see section 3). We also compute a technical fingerprint (hash) of each audio file and read basic properties such as duration and dimensions.
• Text you enter for a render: song title, artist name, genre, mood, cover-art prompt, background-video prompt and lyrics.
• Generated outputs: the promo clips, lyric videos, cover art, AI background videos, lyric word timings and caption and hashtag suggestions the Service creates for you.
• Purchase and usage records (the “credit ledger”): for your anonymous identifier, your Teaserloop Pro status and expiry date, the credit packs you bought (product, store transaction ID, test or live purchase, and time), the credits used for each render (feature, render ID and time) and any refunded credits, and the number of free clips used each month.
• IP address and request data: your IP address is used to apply daily rate limits and prevent abuse, and requests carry a timestamp and a single-use security code.
• Server logs: our hosting provider and our server keep standard logs (such as IP address, request time, request path, response status, render IDs and error messages) for security, troubleshooting and fixing crashes.

We do not ask for or collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, precise location or payment card details, and Teaserloop does not use third-party analytics, advertising or cross-app tracking tools. If you email us, we receive your email address and message and use them to reply. If we add accounts, analytics or other data collection, we will update this policy before doing so.

3. Information stored only on your device

Your projects (titles, artist names, settings, lyrics and references to your files), exported videos and images, onboarding and usage preferences are stored locally on your iPhone and are not stored on our servers. Teaserloop asks for Photos access only so you can pick cover images and videos and save the clips and art you export; it does not read or upload other items in your library. You may also film a video in the app: Teaserloop asks for Camera access and uses the camera only when you choose to film. Because iOS requires Microphone access for recording video, iOS may also ask for that permission, but Teaserloop discards the audio: the video’s recorded sound is removed when it reaches our render server and is not stored. The video is uploaded only to render your clip and is deleted as described in section 9. You can change these permissions at any time in iOS Settings.

4. How we use information

• To render promo clips and lyric videos, analyze your song to suggest a hook section, and generate AI cover art, AI background videos, lyric timings and captions (see section 5).
• To verify purchases, keep your credit balance, apply free-tier limits and return credits automatically if a render fails.
• To apply rate limits and capacity limits, prevent fraud and abuse, keep the Service secure, and fix problems.
• To respond to you if you contact us, to respond to copyright and other legal notices, and to comply with law.

We do not use your information for targeted advertising, we do not use Your Content to train AI models, and we do not use your information to make decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

5. AI processing

When you use an AI feature, our server sends only the data that feature needs to an AI provider and receives the result:

• AI cover art: your cover-art prompt and song title are sent to OpenAI (OpenAI, L.L.C.) to generate an image. Your uploaded images are not sent.
• Lyric videos: to time the words to the music, only the section of your track being rendered (an audio excerpt of up to two minutes) is sent to ElevenLabs (Eleven Labs, Inc.) for transcription with word timestamps. If ElevenLabs is unavailable we may use OpenAI for this step instead, in which case the audio excerpt and the first part of your lyrics are sent to OpenAI.
• AI caption packs: your song title, artist name, genre, mood and a short excerpt of your lyrics are sent to OpenAI to generate captions and hashtags.
• AI background video: when AI background video is used, only a text prompt is sent to xAI (xAI Corp.) to generate a short silent video. The prompt is made from your song title, artist name, genre and mood and the description you enter. Your audio, lyrics, images and videos are not sent.

These providers process the data under their own terms and privacy policies (see OpenAI’s privacy policy and ElevenLabs’ privacy policy), and they do not receive any contact information about you from us. OpenAI states that, by default, it does not use data submitted through its API to train its models. Under xAI’s API terms, xAI does not train on data submitted through its API and keeps API requests and responses for 30 days for abuse monitoring before deleting them (see xAI’s security FAQ). We do not use your content to train AI models. If we change or add an AI provider, we will update this policy.

6. Purchases: Apple and RevenueCat

Subscriptions and credit packs are purchased through the Apple App Store, and Apple processes your payment under its own terms and privacy policy. We use RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc.) to manage in-app purchases: the RevenueCat software in the app and RevenueCat’s servers receive your anonymous app identifier, purchase and transaction information from Apple, and technical information such as device model, operating-system version, app version and IP address, and they tell our server whether you have an active Teaserloop Pro subscription and which credit packs you bought. We never receive your name, Apple ID, email address or payment details. See RevenueCat’s privacy policy and Apple’s privacy policy.

7. Other service providers

• Hosting: our render server, uploaded files, outputs and the credit ledger are hosted in the United States by our cloud hosting provider (currently Render, render.com, or Fly.io, fly.io), which processes requests and logs on our behalf.
• Email: messages you send us are handled by our email provider.
• Sharing you choose: when you share or post an export to TikTok, Instagram, YouTube or another app, that content goes to the service you choose under its own terms and privacy policy; we do not control it.

8. We do not sell your data

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not “share” it for cross-context behavioral advertising (as those terms are defined under California law). We disclose information only to the service providers above to operate the Service, when required by law, to respond to valid legal or copyright notices, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger or sale of the business (with notice where required).

9. Retention

• Uploaded files and generated outputs (audio, cover images and videos, rendered clips, lyric videos, cover art and AI background videos) are deleted automatically from our servers, normally within 24 hours after upload or rendering, and in any event within 30 days. Download links for outputs expire after one hour. Please save anything you want to keep to your device.
• Text you enter for a render and caption results are held on our server only while the render is processed and for the same period as the related outputs, and are not kept in the credit ledger.
• Lyric word timings are cached on our server for up to 7 days, linked only to the audio fingerprint, so that re-rendering the same section does not send your audio to a provider again.
• IP-based rate-limit counters are deleted at the end of each day. Single-use request codes are deleted within minutes, and purchase-notification records within 30 days.
• Server logs are kept for a limited period by us and our hosting provider for security and troubleshooting, and deleted automatically after no more than 30 days unless we need them longer to investigate abuse or meet a legal obligation.
• Credit ledger and device records are kept for as long as we offer the Service so your balance and purchases remain available, and afterwards only as long as needed for accounting, tax, fraud-prevention and legal purposes. When you ask us to delete them (see section 10), we delete or de-identify them, except transaction records we are required to keep.
• On your device: projects and exports stay until you delete them or the app.
• AI providers and RevenueCat retain data under their own terms (see sections 5 and 6).

10. Deleting your data and your choices

You can delete all projects in the app (Settings › Delete all projects), delete individual exports from Photos, and remove all data stored by the app on your device by deleting the app. Server copies of your files and outputs are deleted automatically as described in section 9. To ask us to delete your credit ledger and device records, or for any other request, email info@blissedandbalanced.com. Because Teaserloop has no accounts, we may ask for information to locate your records, such as the approximate date of a purchase or an Apple receipt or order ID. Deleting your ledger permanently removes any unused credits.

11. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Teens aged 13 to 17 may use the Service only with a parent or guardian’s consent. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Your privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA, GDPR and others)

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

• Know and access the personal information we hold about you and how we use it;
• Correct inaccurate information;
• Delete your information (see section 10);
• Data portability, to receive your information in a usable format;
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we don’t sell or share it) and of targeted advertising or profiling (we don’t do these);
• Limit the use of sensitive personal information (we do not collect sensitive personal information for Teaserloop beyond what you choose to include in your content, and we use it only to provide the Service);
• Object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent at any time (EU/UK);
• Not be discriminated against for exercising your rights; and
• Complain to your local data-protection authority (EU/UK).

California residents: in the past 12 months we have collected the categories described in section 2 (identifiers such as an anonymous app identifier, device ID and IP address; commercial information such as purchase and credit records; internet or network activity such as server logs; audio, visual and similar information in the files you upload; and the text you enter), for the purposes in section 4, from you and your device and from Apple and RevenueCat, and disclosed them only to the service providers in sections 5–7. We have not sold or shared personal information.

EU/UK users: we process your information to perform our contract with you (providing the Service and the purchases you make), on the basis of our legitimate interests (security, fraud and abuse prevention, and improving the Service), to comply with legal obligations, and with your consent where required (for example Photos, Camera and Microphone access). Your information is processed in the United States; where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers. The controller of your information is Blissed and Balanced LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, which you can reach at info@blissedandbalanced.com. Where your information is transferred outside the EU or UK, we rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK Addendum) or another lawful transfer mechanism. If the law requires us to appoint a representative in the EU or UK, we will name that representative here. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

To exercise a right, contact us at info@blissedandbalanced.com. We may need to verify your request, and you may use an authorized agent where the law allows. We will respond within the time required by law.

13. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), signed and single-use app requests, device credentials kept in the iOS Keychain, download links that expire after one hour, access to uploads limited to the device that uploaded them, and automatic deletion of files. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Anyone with access to your unlocked device may be able to see your projects and exports.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new “Last updated” date and, for material changes, give notice in the app or by other reasonable means.
